Meet Our Butterfly Girl

Dakota has a voice as soft as butterfly whispers, a shy smile and a clean bill of health, thanks to Cincinnati Children’s.

The 5-year-old has been a patient of the Primary Care Clinic at Cincinnati Children’s since she was born. Her mother, Kelli, says she is lucky that she’s not had any serious health concerns, and credits her wellness to the preventative care that our primary care providers give to Dakota.

“She’s doing great,” Kelli says. “We are thankful that we have experts like the doctors at Cincinnati Children’s so close to home. I know not everyone is so lucky, but I feel grateful for the care we receive.”

Dakota and Kelli will be at Cincinnati Walks for Kids in gratitude for the care they receive here, and to help raise money for other kids who are depending on the expertise and researcher breakthroughs that Cincinnati Children’s provides.

“I know Dakota will love riding the train and seeing the animals at Cincinnati Walks for Kids,” Kelli says.

“The elephants are my favorite! I can’t wait to see them,” Dakota says.
