Team Captain Checklist
Use this checklist to ensure your team's success.

□ Register and create your team online.

□ Recruit team members.

□ Ensure team members are registered. All participants in Cincinnati Walks for Kids MUST be registered, including infants.

□ Set a team fundraising goal.

□ Personalize your fundraising webpage.

□ Rally your team — hold a team kick-off celebration to get your teammates excited for the walk.

□ Encourage all of your team members to set a personal fundraising goal and be active fundraisers.

□ Conduct an email campaign to ask for donations.

□ Post about your team's goals and progress on Facebook and other social media sites. Encourage your teammates to do the same!

□ Check to see if you or your teammates work for a company that has a matching gift program. If so, obtain copies of the necessary forms for the company match. Fill out the forms and turn them in on walk day or send them with your other walk gifts.

□ Email or call team members regularly to keep them updated on walk day details.

□ Build your team spirit. Create team T-shirts, buttons, signs or a banner (not required) to increase your team's visibility on walk day.

□ Download and customize a flyer for your team and ask local businesses to hang it.

□ Collect your donations and encourage your teammates to take advantage of Advance Walker Check-In on Monday, Sept. 19, at the Cincinnati Children's Vernon Manor location, 400 Oak Street.

□ Make a plan with your teammates to gather on walk day in the team meet-up area to celebrate your successes.

□ Walk with your team at Cincinnati Walks for Kids on Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.
