Why Support the Walk?
Every dollar you raise helps save kids' lives

Each year, the Cincinnati Children's team interacts with patients more than one million times. Some patients are here for things like ear tubes and flu shots, others are here with life-threatening illnesses like cancer, and some are here because they have chronic medical conditions. Whatever the reason they come through our doors, Cincinnati Children's is here to help kids heal and grow stronger – both physically and emotionally.

Beyond the bedside, Cincinnati Children's is a research leader. Without cutting edge research, we can't provide world-class care. We're making sure we bring together the best scientists and doctors in the world to create a continuum of care for our patients.

As a nonprofit hospital and research center, we depend on philanthropic support. When you walk with us on Saturday, Sept. 26, you're becoming an active partner in all that we do. You're making a difference in the lives of our patients and their families through the money you raise. Whether you're walking to support a particular program area or the hospital in general, your efforts as a walker, from registration to fundraising to lacing up your shoes, are vital to our work!
