Cincinnati Walk for Kids 2020

Sweet Caroline

Our team is joining other patients, families and supporters for Cincinnati Walks for Kids to raise money to help advance cures and improve care for kids and families who are counting on Cincinnati Children’s for hope and healing.  Specifically, our funds support the Caroline Clay Vitale Memorial Fund, which supports research and families of children born with rare diseases.

Cincinnati Walks for Kids is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a great day of family fun and celebration, all for an amazing cause.  For us, the walk is a time to remember Caroline with family and friends, and raise awareness for Congenital Alveolar Dysplasia (CAD), the disease that took Caroline at 24 days old.  We have thoroughly enjoyed the walks in the past few years, and although this year is a 'virtual' walk, we look forward to participating.

During these unprecedented times, we wish you all safety, love and health.  Even though we can't walk together this year, we hope you will join us once again-whether from your couch, out on a hike, or though a walk around the block.  We would love to hear from you or see pictures!  We truly appreciate the immense support Caroline and our family have received over the years.

Best wishes,

Liz, David and Sam
