Cincinnati Walks for Kids is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a great day of family fun and celebration, all for an amazing cause.

Now, more than ever, each of us can make a difference in the life of a sick child. We’re changing the outcome together.

A little back ground on Elija and our time spent at Cincinnatti Children's Hospital (CCH). In November of 2017our lives changed forever, with no warning Elija had his first tonic clonic seizure (TC). After an EEG and some blood work we were told that he had epilepsy, two days we will never forget. He was diagnosed with generlized seizures, inside that he has been diagnosed with tonic clonic, absence, and myoclonic seizures. We began his treatment at Women and Children's WVU center. His doctor felt it was in Elija's best interest to be transfered to CCH as they had more resources for Elija's condition. That first visit was overwhelmng, yet made us feel so much better. Everyone from the cafeteria staff to his team of nurses and doctors have been amazing with every visit and our over night stays. They have so many great things that they offer their patients and families to make the visits easier. We love being a part of the CCH family!
