Member Role & Benefits

Role Description

Council members will play an integral role in helping to ensure that Cincinnati Children’s remains at the forefront of care and discovery. With an annual donation of $1,500 or more, members will be able to build their philanthropic leadership skills all while funding critical initiatives at the medical center.

Role Expectations

• Contribute a minimal annual gift of $1,500 to the Emerging Philanthropists Council fund through an outright gift or pledge annually.
• Encourage your employer to match your gift, if available, to double your impact.
• Attend at minimum two council meetings each year.
• Enjoy support from Cincinnati Children’s Philanthropy team members.
• Participate in the annual Emerging Philanthropists Council vote on the research or clinical care initiative that will receive funding.
• Assist in recruiting 2-3 new members to help expand and diversify the reach of Philanthropists Council.
• Represent the Emerging Philanthropists Council at various public and private Cincinnati Children’s events:
• Kaleidoscope, an exclusive concert event for our community to join together for an evening of music and joyful memories;
• Evening with Champions, a special occasion for our supporters to connect with amazing kids in our Champion Program;
• Cincinnati Walks for Kids, the medical center’s largest annual fundraising event that concludes with a family-friendly day of walking and activities; and more.
