It is the mission of Dance Maroon: Eastern Kentucky University Dance Marathon to create a multi-faceted program that operates through the support and leadership of the students, faculty, staff, and administrators of Eastern Kentucky University (EKU). Furthermore, this program will operate through the support and leadership of the city of Richmond, KY, and the surrounding communities in Central and Eastern Kentucky. By raising money, the program enhances the lives of children treated at Cincinnati Children's Hospital (CCH), including children throughout the Bluegrass. Furthermore, Dance Maroon strives to establish a continued campus tradition, invoke appreciation and involvement, and ultimately create something greater than oneself.
